Abstract

The measuring sensor is for lengths or angles with an approximately sinusoidal output signal, in which part of a measuring graticule is imaged on to another part of the same graticule by an optical system using mirrors that there is a difference of one scale division between the superimposed parts, and in which at the place of super-imposition or in the same plane a stop (10) is arranged with a length equal to the distance from a brightness minimum to the adjacent maximum of the superimposed imageS, followed by a collecting optical system (11) and photodetector (12).
