Abstract

Each filing cabinet drawer is carried by a support attached to endless chains or bands so that the supports may be circulated to bring a chosen drawer to an access opening at the front of the cabinet. Each lower corner of each drawer has a wedge shaped piece of synthetic material so placed that their inclined surfaces face inwardly from the front and rear and form catches engaging in and lodging in corresponding depression in the supports. Each of the wedge pieces has a synthetic material roller to improve sliding action as the drawers are moved to and from the supports onto a fixed surface.
