Abstract

The sprinkler unit is intended to be installed below ground level and attached to a water supply. The uses for the sprinkler include watering of gardens and parks together with the washing of pavements. The sprinkler is contained in a case (1) which has a cover plate (1a). A flange (8) joins to the water supply pipe. The internal pipe in the sprinkler (4) contains a conically shaped non return valve (3) containing a frame and a flexible membrane. This membrane prevents debris from the sprinkler head entering the water pipe. The sprinkler also contains a tap (2) with a domed head.
