Abstract

The ends of the rolling brush central horizontal shaft are held in bearings at the ends of swivelling arms pivoted in the slide in vertical supporting columns on both sides of the vehicle. The swing arm mechanism ensures that the ends of the vehicles are also washed by a continuous rotating process. The swing arms can be rotated by a drive mechanism in relation to the changes in the motor vehicle outlines. The rotation of the swing arms ensures that widely differing contours can be covered on washing by the roller brush. The shaft of the roller brush can be connected by a wire to a counterweight which hangs over a pulley in order to provide necessary covering movements.
