Abstract

The connector allows a row of contact pins on a circuit module to be connected to respective cable leads, and is formed by two flat plates (6) spaced by a distance equal to that between two consecutive rows of contact pins for the module. The connector has a number of contacts, each formed by a strip, which is folded in two, the free ends of the folded strip forming spring contact blades for engaging the contact pins, and the folded edge forming a contact post around which the lead wire is wound. The connector is formed from two identical moulded plastics plates (6) spaced by struts (11) which also space the lead wires.
