Abstract

The carrying handle is clipped to the sack by hand or, using automatic assembly methods, by passing between rollers. The handle is made from plastic in two overlying parts (1, 1a), each having a grip (2) for lifting, a hook (4) for hanging and sides (3) lengthened to hold the top of the sack. On one part (1a), localised areas (5, 5a) are made thicker to give a flush surface when assembled to the second part. These areas have their edges (6, 6a) folded to give angles inclined inwards. Pressing the two areas together locks and fixes each part securely, but still allows separation.
