Abstract

Stable compsns. for prodn. of hardened, elastomeric articles consist of particles of a complex of 4, 4'-methylene dianiline (MDA) and NaCl or LiCl, >=75% of which are 75-125 um dia., dispersed in an amine-hardenable prepolymer contg. NCO gps., or in an epoxy resin. Before thermal hardening, the particle size is further reduced, pref. until >=75% are of >20 mum. Compsns. are stable for >=2 months, and allow moulding of rubbery to hard plastic products (e.g. tyres, machine parts) or potting of components.
