Abstract

The parent patent describes solid compsns. used in aq. solns. for washing and bleaching based on peroxy cpds. which are activated by the reaction prod. of a dioxime and an acetylating agent, pref. diacetylated glyoximes. In the patent of addition the activator is protected by a coating of mixed cpds. formed by crystallising an alkali metal carbonate with one of alkali metal bicarbonates and sulphates and Hg SO4, the coating forming 0.5-20 wt.% of the activator. The coated activator, has improved storage stability towards the peroxy cpds. esp. in the presence of moisture. The mixed cpds. do not contain foreign bodies that might contaminate the activator.
