Abstract

The two central frames of this multi-purpose suitcase are hinged together and each of them constitutes the first of a series of similar frames, whose perimeters decrease in size from the centre to the bottom and top of the suitcase. These frames, fitting telescopically within each other, may be locked into a chosen position with required dimensions. The smallest of the frames have walls forming the bottom and top of the suitcase. These walls may have pivot open and carry key operated locks. The two central frames hinge open in a conventional manner and have external locks and a carrying handle.
