Abstract

The cassette ejection mechanism has a movable edge, which allows it to be adapted for use with various sizes of cassette, by varying the distance between the two sliding tracks (1, 16) along which the cassette moves. The rear of the ejection mechanism is formed so that it can be extended rearwards to take slide cassettes of longer length. The extension is provided by a movable platform (16), which slides into the cassette support (3) which has a longitudinal slot (18) through which passes a projection (17) integral with the sliding platform.
