Abstract

The fixture consists of a hollow post (3) which is mounted vertically. Welded to this post is a stirrup clamp. Two arms of the clamp project from the line of the post. The clamp is closed by a hinged plate which is locked to one of the arms of the clamp by a wing nut. The post on the sign slides into the vertical post (3). The bottom of the post on the sign contains a number of slots which are diametrically opposed to one another. There are also two slots in the other post and a bar can be put across both posts thereby locking the sign in position.
