Abstract

To dispense with the use of tooth-paste, this tooth-brush has its bristles coated or impregnated with a substance releasing each time the brush is used and with the bristle's carrying a certain amount of fluoride which protects teeth. Preferably a fluoride is mixed with a polyamide and other suitable substances and the mixture passes through an extruder producing a fibre which is then cut into small pieces to form the bristle. Another way is to coat or impregnate the fibre with an amalgam of fluoride and abrasive substance.
