Abstract

The press comprises a frame with at least two vertical columns (e.g. 4) supporting a ram which moves up and down; the columns also act as guides for a moulding frame which can be raised off the moulded concrete block by means of hydraulic cylinders, thus stripping the mould. The stationary columns function as piston rods on which the cylinders slide up and down; the moulding frame has no base and is supported by brackets on the cylinders. The construction is simple with few moving parts.
