Abstract

The filler opening is for sacks made of an inner plastic layer and an outer support layer. The filler device consists of a tubular plastic element glued to a support strip. At the inner end the flattened sides of the tube slit to form two flaps, which are folded back between the flattened tube and the support strip. To use the device it is glued into the sack opening and opened by pushing a filler nozzle or similar through the tube. This unfolds the lower end flap, which seals the sack after filling.
