Abstract

Baby feeding bottle has a thermometer formed in the wall of the container, thus permitting measurement of the contents before and during use. The thermometer scale is marked on the outside of the bottle. The mercury content of the thermometer is such that the 50 deg.C level is roughly half way up the tube. This permits cleaning of the bottle at temperature of approximately 100 deg.C. The principle can be applied to any sort of container. The bottle is formed of a transparent material such as glass and is topped by a teat.
