Abstract

The bottle is made of plastic or other flexible material. It is generally cylindrical in shape but has a bellowed section (c) centrally which adds to its flexibility. The teat (b) is moulded as an integral part of the bottle so that the sterilisation may occur after the bottle has been filled. Some form of piercing or cutting device (d) is fitted to the teat so that the contents of the bottle may be allowed to flow. A cover (e) may be fitted to the teat to protect it during transit or to protect a partly filled bottle.
