Abstract

A cross country racing ski, of plastic or glass fibre construction, has a profiled under surface for improved grip and longitudinal ribs for guidance. The middle section (1) has a saw tooth profile extending across its width, the teeth of which point backwards. Two ribs (3) also run along the ski axis and the centre squares of the toothed profile may have an additional fish scale pattern on them. The front (a) and rear (b) portions of the ski have a plain surface with one central rib (9) running longitudinally.
