Abstract

Each unit is a regular hexagon and six such units are thus arranged in a ring so that two adjacent units share two uprights and one partition wall. The central hexagonal space in the middle is bounded by the uprights and panels of the units. In the centre of the central space is a hexagonal-shaped shaft with six radial walls connecting to the walls of the units around it. Each radial wall forms a right angle with a unit-wall. The six radial walls form six small rooms which can be used as kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, cupboards etc., not needing to be on the outside of the building.
