Abstract

The front part of the foot is covered by one of the pieces which is fixed to the sole of the shoe (C1). The back part of the shoe is made of a roughly triangular piece (C2) which is fixed to the back of the heel and has extra strengthening (K). The two ends of this piece (C10 & C12) are fastened round the front of the footy by a buckle or laces and are located and held in position by a hook(G) on the front part. The shoe is very easy to put on and gives good support to the foot.
