Abstract

A support structure for long cable runs is described and consists of two longerons separated by short spacers to form a ladder. The longerons are U sections with short flanges, each having in the web adjacent and parallel to one of the flanges a groove convex to the interior of the U. At intervals transverse slots are cut in the convex part of the groove to receive the ends of the spacers, which are standard structural sections, cut to length as required. After insertion in the slots their ends are bent over to retain them in position.
