Abstract

The plasterers trowel comprises a sheet of metal folded to a right angle (1) with another smaller sheet of metal extending between the arms of the right angle. A handle (2) is attached to this smaller piece of metal. The trowel is run down the angle to be made in the plaster. To obtain a good finish the metal must be sufficiently polished to slip well and the edges must be free from burrs. Other forms of the trowel include turning the V shape round is that it may be used for outside angles, and forming the right angle by using a box section.
