Abstract

The rail is fixed to the wall and the strip pivots into a position where it retains the cladding sheet parallel to the wall surface being covered. The strip has a lengthwise opening in it on its free end, into which the edge of the cladding sheet looped around a flat bar is inserted. The outside surface of the strip is preferably ridged in order to maintain the cladding sheet in a taut position. The strip hinges on a section of the rail, which has two rounded lips corresponding to indentations in the strip. Pref. the rail has a lengthwise aperture into which is inserted the edge, rolled round a bar of a lining underneath the cladding sheet.
