Abstract

On an N-truss ridge beam (1-4) rest rafters (5) constituting one side of the frame. Diagonal strut (6) connects the lower section (2) of ridge beam and central section of each rafter (5). A tie-beam (7) connects lower end of each rafter (5) to lower section (2) of ridge beam. The other side of the structure comprises sloping rafters (8) shorter than those on the other side. These are supported by a diagonal brace (9) linking the central part of each rafter (8) to lower section (2) of ridge beam. The lower end of rafter (8) is lined to the beam by a tie-rod (10). A covering is placed over the frame.
