Abstract

Machine automatically strips shutter from precast concrete products e.g. posts : the machine supports a flat bottomed mould upside down in a horizontal plane with its active surface resting on the stripping palette, which is in turn supported horizontally and elastically on a frame-mounted vertically mobile platform. A micro-switch between the palette and the platform, is activated by the weight of the product, thus initiating the lowering of the platform and effecting removal of the products from the mould. Pref. four columns project through the platform and support the palette which is tension sprung to the former.
