Abstract

The ceiling is made of fibre sections with holes in, amounting to half the surface area, to let through light. The floor covering absorbs vibrations and is soundproof. The separate front-wall serves as a screen for the noise emitted from adjacent units. Each wall consists of a panel of linen fibre, incorporated with a fibrous panel, a layer of mineral wool and a layer of glass wool, all attached to an outside protective mesh with holes mounting to 80 to 95 per cent of the surface area. An asbestos layer is attached to the protective mesh.
