Abstract

The assembly has a base formed from an elongated moulded plastic plate attached to a file cover. Within two spaced rectangular holes in the base are mounted the plates on which the half rings are mounted. The plates when flat are wider than the width of the holes and each has a cental line of reduced thickness forming a hinge such that they have an overcentre action. The free ends of the half rings, one each side of the plate hinge lines, have interlocking cross shape projections and recesses, one transverse arm of the each projection and its corresponding recess being cylindrical.
