Abstract

Fixing of conducting piece on insulated support involves a 'U' shaped metallic stamping with central bars. The legs of the 'U' are bent to form projections which bind against the walls of slots in the insulated support, and the metallic piece is press fitted into the slots. The conducting piece may be attached to the boss by a screw or riveting method. The central boss on the bent metal strip may project into a recess in the insulation or may project outwards.
