Abstract

A support and enclosure system is for rectangular shaped electrical busbars or conductors. Thee system is designed to allow the use of several sizes or conductors. The enclosure is a single piece item having an approx rectangular cross-section, the cover (3) hinges on its base (2) by a thin section (10). The cover is 'L' shaped overlapping one face of the moulding and is provided with a claw (15) engaging in a slot (13) in the lower surface of the enclosure base. The inside surface of both cover and base is so formed as to provide a series of recesses and protrusions which provide a firm seating for busbars (41) of different cross-sections.
