Abstract

Each fillet forming the side of a trapezoid trough is joined to that of the adjacent trough by flanged edge. Concrete poured into the troughs forms girders in which is also submerged a reinforcement rod. The concrete surface over the troughs also incorporates a reinforcing mesh. On the oblique surfaces of the fillets are triangular folds. Regularly-spaced punched out cavities on the trough fold-lines anchor the metal and concrete together. Cross-pieces with bolts may be fixed between the triangular folds.
