Title compsns. contain a corticoid or a pyrazolone deriv, pref, phenylbutazone, and a natural polyol pref. inositol, ribitol or D-glucuronic acid. Preferred compositions contain 10-500 mg phenylbutazone and 10-200 mg polyol. They may be administered orally, parenterally, or rectally.
