Abstract

The cleaning medium contains org. degreasing solvent and other engridients (I) including a surface active agent, where the solvent contains a dispersed amt. of water equal to at least twice (pref. 6 times) the wt. of (I) under specified conditions of time, concn. pressure and temp. The method is used to clean polyamides, polyesters, acrylics, chlorofibres and polyolefins where better cleaning and dimensional stability is obtd. than using anhydrous solvent processes.
