Abstract

Apparatus to control the length contraction of a web of paper-backed wire sieve includes a sequence of synthetic rubber rollers along the return loop of an endless belt, arranged so that the centre lines of the guide rollers are collinear. At each end are pairs of rollers in a vertical plane with an angle between 0.5 degrees and 3 degrees.
