Abstract

A storage stable mixt. of coagulation Factors II, VII, IX and X in non-activated form, in the same proportions as in natural human plasma and free of thrombin activated Factor X, depressor activity and anti-complement activity, is prepared by selective absorption from Effluent I, prepared by Cohn method 6 from natural human plasma, onto an ion exchanger. This ion exchanger consists of cross-linked dextran substituted by diethylaminoethyl gps. The mixt of factors is then eluted with a soln of a volatile salt. The product is used for treating coagulation disorders, e.g. for haemophilia.
