Abstract

The containers run on rollers along horizontal tracks on top of the bench, using linear actuators such that at any one time, one container is at the filler station and one is below one of the two press stations on either side of the filler station. Each container has a base plate, with mesh central zone, and a double walled shell which can be raised and lowered from it on self-container actuators. The container has a mesh inner wall fitting the press piston and a solid outerwall sealing to the base plate in the lower position. The curd paste is ejected by a ram perpendicular to the bench when the container shell is raised.
