Abstract

A copolymer having a Mooney viscosity of 10-150 at 100 degrees C comprises 15-45% (wt.) of acrylonitrile (I) based on copolymer), 50-90% butadiene (II) and 10-50% isoprene (III), the % of (II) and (III) being based on (II) + (III). The copolymer has the excellent characteristics of (I)/(II) (NBR) and (I)/(III) (NIR) copolymers and furthermore exhibits good low temp. properties.
