Abstract

The processing is based on a first aeration tank followed either by a first sedimentation tank or a pair of coagulation flotation tanks, a second aeration tank, a second sedimentation tank from which activated sludge is recycled to the first stages and a final biological post treatment stage including resin filter bed. The liq. manure from the stall wash down drains is first sieved to extract coarse solids (straw etc.).
