Abstract

Three (or more) separate colours/transparent plastic materials are fed in, plasticised and dosed at separate rates by a common power system. They pass to one injection gate through separate channels of desired sections, so as to flow at different rates to the final injection nozzle. The arrangement enables imitation ivory, marble etc. to be produced without using any surface coating.
