Abstract

Paper wire screen dehydrating foil composed of a number of elongate segments is mounted resiliently and frictionally in a holder block having a horizontal screen supporting face and a vertically extending leading face, a foil mounting groove extending transversely of the wire screen being provided at the intersection of the faces and the groove has a pair of mutually inclined faces which co-operate with complementary faces on the foil segments, whereby a spring element disposed in the groove is used to bias the foil in the direction of movement of the screen.
