Compsns. comprise >=1 polyfunctional polyisocyanate e.g. diphenylmethane diisocyanate) a cpd. reactive therewith (e.g. a polyol) and 4-chloro-m-phenylene diamine (I) as chain extender. Use of (I) eliminates the conventional potentially carcinogenic methylene-bis-o-chloraniline.
