Abstract

Fine-grained colour-photographic recording material consists of a substrate and (a) red-sensitive, (b) green-sensitive, and (c) blue-sensitive colour-forming unit, each with >=1 Ag halide emulsion layer contg. a non-diffusing dye-yielding colour-coupier. >=1 of (a), (b) and (c) contains 2 Ag halide emulsion layers having the same sensitometric gamma-values (differing by 0.1), but different sensitometric sensitivities. Of these two layers, the layer near to the substrate has the lower photographic sensitivity and contains 5-30 mol.% of >=1 developing inibitor-releasing coupler which is capable of reacting with an oxidised developer cpd. under formation of a differing developing inhibitors. Pref. sensitivity diferential between the two layers of a unit is 0.15 log E to 1.3 log E.
