Abstract

Title cpds are of formula where R1 is H, Cl, Br, NO2; R2 is Cl, Br, NO2, more active than maneb against Plasmopora viticola on vine leaves. It gives 100% protection (R1, R2 = 2,4-dinitro) at concentration, down to 125 ppm. Prepd by reaction of the sodium derivative of 3-hydroxy-1,2,5-thiadiazole with halobenzenes.
