Abstract

Fungicidal agents contain cpds. of the formula: XpC6H4-p-NH-NH-CO-(CO)m-(O)n-R (I) (where X is halogen, CH3, or OCH3; R is 3C alkyl or CF3; one of m and n is 0 and the other is 1, and p is 0, 1 or 2). (I) have strong fungicidal activity with relatively low toxicity to warm-blooded animals and no irritant effection skin or mucous membranes. They are well tolerated by higher plants and their seeds, and may be used for combatting phytopathogenic fungi, being partic. suitable for use as seed dressings and for soil treatment. (I) also have microbicidal, algicidal, insecticidal and acaricidal activity.
