Abstract

Mfr. of heat exchangers with Al parts in which the connections between the parts are made by low temp. melting, e.g. at 300 degrees C, welding alloy. At least the Al parts are coated with a thin layer of the welding alloy before they are welded to the other parts of the radiator. The process is esp. used in the manufacture of radiators for cars and allows Al to be used without corroding at the joints.
