Abstract

Liquid is drawn into a pipette from a bottle, by a bulb comprising a sleeve, e.g. of flexible plastic, with a domed top, which fits tightly inside an extended, rim, on top of screwed bottle cap. The cap has a socket holding the pipette; and is perforated with a small hole; through which air is drawn to the bulb, but which hinders passage of liquid. Pref. a tubular extension above the hole prevents excessive depression of bulb dome, and provides near constant dose. Dropper has greater capacity and bulb is afforded more protection.
