Abstract

Title cpds. are of formula (I) where R1 and R2 = =4C alkyl, or together with the N atom form a pyrrolidino, piperidino hexamethyleneimino or morpholino ring. They are prepd. by reaction of the corresp. 4-bromomethyl dioxolane (II) with the secondary amine R1-NH-R2. In an example, 0.15 mole (II) in dry toluene was treated with 0.75 mole pyrrolidine and refluxed for 8-14 hrs. to give a 67% yield of (I) R1NR2=pyrrolidino b. pt. 140-141 degrees C/5 mm Hr.
