Abstract

Title cpd. with a particle size of less than 5 mu m and pharmaceutical compsns. contg. it which has increased bioavilability compared with normal dopa of particle size 40-120 mu m. The prodt. has greatly increased oral toxicity in mice. 2.5 g./kg. orally kills 7/10 mice after five hrs., but the same dose of normal dopa kills none. Cerebral levels after micronised dopa are much higher than after normal dopa.
