Abstract

Pressure moulding process partic. for metal, e.g. brass workpieces (I) in which >=1 detachable lining is used in at least the first part of the mould, in the form of a matrix (II) corresponding to the negative of the first surface of (I), and in which (II) is exchanged after use for a new (II) which is produced by a separate pressure moulding operation in which a "patrix" (III) having the same dimensions as the corresponding surface of (I) is used, and in which (III) has an m.pt. and/or thermal capacity such that it can receive heat from the material used to form (II) without deterioration, and (IIe has an m.pt. and/or thermal capacity such that it can receive heat from the material used to form (I) without deterioration.
