Compsn. to limit metal corrosion and scaling in water systems contains 0.5-45% orthophosphoric acid, 0-70% sodium phosphates and 0.3-30% Zn as a salt. The compsn. is esp. useful for potable waters to prevent corrosion and scaling of metallic surfaces.
