Abstract

Therapeutic compsns. contg. as active component a compound of formula where R is Me, -CH2OH; one of R1, R2 is H and the other is Me. The cpds. are active in modifying protein synthesis, esp. that of collagen. They may be used for treating degenerative processes in cardiology, phlebology, gerontology and rheumatology; also used in dermatology and surgery. Oral dose is 50-500 mg/day.
