(I): and their salts (where R1 and R2 = H, CH3, C2H5, phenyl, p-chlorophenyl, or benzyl; X is O or S; R3 is H and R4 = H, 1-4C alkyl, CH3OCO-, C2H5OCO-, CH3CO-, C6H5CO-, C6H5CH2-, C6H5CH2CH2-, pyridylmethyl, pyridylethyl, furfuryl, thenyl, cinnamyl, cinnamoyl, allyl or propargyl; m is 0 1 and n i 2 or 3; m+n = 2 or 3; or R3 and R4 = -CH2CH2-, m is 2 and n is 1) are prepd. by reacting cpds. (II): (A = CO or C(OH)2) with cpds. of formula: HXC(R1)(R2)-COOH. Cpds. (I) have acetylcholine antagonistic activity and gastric juice secretion inhibiting activity.
